Devices and two-factor authentication
Connected devices
Section titled “Connected devices”Settings → Account → Connected devices lists every device signed in to your account, with its platform and last sync. Unlink anything you no longer use — a sold laptop, a reinstalled machine — and it loses access immediately (Confirm unlink). Vetroscope Cloud allows up to 5 devices; unlinking frees a slot.
Unlinking a device doesn’t delete anything: its local data stays on that machine, and your synced data stays in your account.
Two-factor authentication
Section titled “Two-factor authentication”2FA adds an authenticator-app code to sign-in, so a stolen password alone isn’t enough.
Enabling
Section titled “Enabling”- Settings → Account → Enable two-factor authentication.
- Scan the QR code with your authenticator app (1Password, Authy, Google Authenticator — anything standard).
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
- Save the recovery codes — use Copy all and store them with your passwords. Each works once if you lose the authenticator.
Signing in with 2FA
Section titled “Signing in with 2FA”After your password, you’ll be asked for the 6-digit code from your authenticator app. Lost the authenticator? Choose Use a recovery code and burn one of your saved codes — then disable and re-enable 2FA to set up a fresh authenticator.
