Install the extension
All the store links are on vetroscope.com/download. Make sure the Vetroscope desktop app is running — the extension pairs with it automatically the moment both are alive.
Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, Vivaldi
Section titled “Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc, Opera, Vivaldi”Install from the Chrome Web Store — the same listing works in every Chromium-based browser. No settings needed afterward.
Firefox and Zen
Section titled “Firefox and Zen”Install from Firefox Add-ons (AMO). The same add-on covers Firefox forks like Zen.
Safari
Section titled “Safari”Safari uses a small companion app. Download Vetroscope for Safari from the download page (the macOS setup can also install it for you), open it once, then turn the extension on in Safari → Settings → Extensions.
Confirming it’s paired
Section titled “Confirming it’s paired”Click the extension’s icon: the popup shows Paired with a green dot when it’s connected to the desktop app. “Connecting to the Vetroscope app…” or Not paired means it can’t find the app — see extension troubleshooting.
You can also just browse for a minute and watch the site appear as a breakdown under your browser on Home.
Multiple browsers? Install it in each — they all pair with the same app independently.
