Trial

Every new account starts a 14-day trial with the complete experience.

Lifetime license

Section titled “Lifetime license”

A one-time purchase that unlocks core Vetroscope functionality permanently:

  • Full tracking, and every page and window in the app.
  • Home Sync — sync between your computers through a server you host yourself.
  • The Local API, for connecting your own scripts and tools.

A lifetime license is purchased and linked to a Vetroscope account. To move it to a different account, unlink it in Settings → Account first.

With a license, you can use Home Sync to sync your computers through your own hardware. Vetroscope Cloud (up to 5 computers) needs a Vetroscope Pro subscription.

Vetroscope Pro

A subscription that provides full access to all Vetroscope features:

  • Vetroscope Cloud — sync through our servers across up to 5 computers (encrypted before upload; optional end-to-end encryption).
  • The web dashboard — your data from any browser, phone, or tablet at app.vetroscope.com.
  • Vetroscope Chat — AI powered conversational questions about your tracked time.

Manage or cancel anytime from Settings → Account → Manage Account. Cancelling keeps Pro until the end of the period you’ve paid for. When Pro ends, an account with a lifetime license goes back to Licensed. Without one, it goes back to the trial: any trial time you had left still applies, and after that tracking pauses until you purchase. A lifetime license bought while you’re on Pro is kept for when Pro ends.

Verify your email during a trial

During a trial, Cloud Sync, the web dashboard, Chat, AI search, and categorizing unknown apps need a verified email. Until you verify, Vetroscope shows a reminder with a Resend verification button. Pro and Licensed accounts aren’t affected.

When a trial ends

The app switches to read-only and shows “Trial ended, tracking paused”:

  • Recording stops, no new activity is tracked, and alerts stop firing.
  • Everything you’ve already tracked stays visible: Home, Charts, Activity, Timeline, Calendar, and Reports all still show your past time.
  • You can still view, delete, and archive. Adding or editing is blocked, with a message explaining why.
  • Paid features lock: Cloud, Home Sync, the web dashboard, Chat, and the Local API.

Purchase a license or Vetroscope Pro to resume exactly where you left off.
